I am a geographer, trained at various Paris universities. During my PhD (2015-2018), my focus was at the croosroad of farmland access and food relocalisation issues. Based at the University of Lyon and at INRA Montpellier, I carried out fieldwork in three areas of France (Amiénois, Lyonnais, Sud-Aveyron). My dissertation (https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/tel-02790799) mainly addressed the strategies deployed by local authorities, a so-called citizens' movement (Terre de Liens) and professional organisations (Adear) to help farmers involved in short food supply chains accessing to land.

I have taught in a variety of institutions, mainly as temporary lecturer (Cergy Paris Université, Université PSL) and teaching assistant (Université Lyon 2, Université Paris Est Créteil). I also participated to research programs, including ANR JASMINN (on land justice and land property-rights issues) and PSDR FRUGAL (on urban food systems and urban breeding issues).

My research now focuses on the effect of the renewed social attention for soils in the land dynamics of rural areas, first in France (Morvan, Alsace, Lyon). This work aims to contribute to the social geography of  environment and to legal geography approaches. To provide food for thought on the transition of rural areas in a predominantly urban society, I investigate the three prisms of (agricultural, forestry and urban) land development projects, of the land law dynamics and of the quantitative and qualitative land inequalities in rural areas.
