Présentation

Following a PhD in geography and earth sciences, studying risk with a global, multi-risk approach, the focus of my work shifted to social vulnerability to earthquake. Using (face-to-face and internet) surveys and geomatic tools (GIS) I aim to assess the various factors causing social vulnerability and propose ways of representing individual and collective vulnerability (mapping, synthetic indices and such). Moving from a static to a dynamic approach, I use multi-agent models to reproduce seismic crises or as a means of modelling support. My work also concerns the structuring of spatial data for other topics (everyday mobility, pastoralism).
