Présentation

Sabine Saurugger is a Professor of political science and Research Dean at Sciences Po Grenoble, where she is joint-head of the School of European Governance, alongside Fabien Terpan. After undergraduate studies at the University of Vienna and the Free University of Berlin, she completed her PhD at Sciences Po Paris and taught for a year at the University of Lille as an assistant professor. She is a honorary member of the Institut universitaire de France (IUF) and held visiting research and professorship positions at the College of Europe and the Universities of Cologne, Montreal, Brussels and Oxford.

Sabine Saurugger's research focuses on public policy and comparative politics, and more specifically on interest groups, theories of European integration, European public policies and the politics of law. She has recently published, with Fabien Terpan, Crisis and Institutional Change in Regional Integration (Routledge, 2016) and The Court of Justice of the European Union and the Politics of Law (Palgrave, 2017). Her articles have been published in journals such as Policy Sciences, Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of European Public Policy, European Journal of Political Research, West European Politics, Political Studies Review, Revue Française de Science Politique or Interest Groups & Advocacy.
