Sidonie Naulin is Associate Professor at Sciences Po Grenoble - Pacte (France).
She specializes in economic sociology, digital sociology, media studies and food studies.
After completing a Master’s degree in sociology at Sciences Po Paris, she received her doctorate from Paris-Sorbonne University. She held a postdoctoral position at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG) in Cologne.
She currently conduct research on the changes of labour market and careers in catering, and on the marketization of leisure activities in a context of digitalization. She is the principal investigator of a research project on the role events in career and public image of individuals and professional groups (ANR-CaNoE), and of another project on new forms of employment and internationalization of the labour market for chefs (Idex-Matraca). She is also a partner of a project led by Sarah Abdelnour on platform capitalism (ANR-Capla) in which she conduct research on private chefs using internet platforms to find work. Lastly Naulin is joint-organizer, with Anne Jourdain, of a working group on the marketization of everyday life (ISRF/MSH Paris-Nord).
