I am an emeritus professor of political science at Grenoble-Alpes University and hold the chair of Global and Comparative Politics at the Institut Universitaire de France. I am carrying out research in several international teams, focusing in particular on: how international organizations are fashioning tomorrow’s world; the contribution of non-Western political philosophies to a universal theory of international relations; and the contribution of emerging powers to the global political order. My work is rooted in several disciplines (including economics and the theory of organizations, but also political psychology and anthropology), all of which fits into efforts to make what I call global studies. I have taught several massive open online courses in this field.
