Data Institute Seminar: Exploring time-space dynamics of large metropolitan areas from Airbnb data

Marianne Guerois and Malika Madelin will give a talk on "Exploring time-space dynamics of large metropolitan areas from Airbnb data". The event will take place on Friday September, 21th from 12:15 in IMAG building, seminar room.
The conference will be follwed by a framed work from an airbnb dataset (compulsory registration).

This seminar is organised by the University of Grenoble Alpes Data Institute’s research group focusing on Data Science, Social Media and Social Sciences. This research initiative aims at using new data sources coming from the web and social media to analyze social structures in innovative ways. Social media have recently become a promising observatory of society that is used by social scientists and computer scientists at the Data Institute to provide a better understanding of the dynamics of opinions, careers and urban structures in contemporary society.
