Présentation

Sebastian Roché teaches at Sciences-Po Grenoble, National College of Police Chiefs (l’École Nationale Supérieure de la Police, Lyon), University of Grenoble and Bahcesehir (Istanbul). He has recently published De la police en démocratie, Paris, Grasset, 2016 and co-editied with D. Oberwittler (ed) Police-citizen relations across the world. Comparing sources and contexts of trust and legitimacy, London, Routledge. His interests are in comparative legitimacy and governance of police, community oriented policing, and comparative analysis of social integration and crime among adolescents. He has been the principal investigator in France of comparative projects (7th FP Scientific Indicators of Confidence in Justice Tools for Policy Assessment « Eurojustis », ANR Adolescents police reliations in multi ethnic societies « POLIS », ANR Understanding and Preventing Youth Crime « UPYC »).
