Présentation générale

Thierry Bontems is a research engineer at the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), working in the PACTE human and social sciences laboratory (www.pacte-grenoble.fr). He is a specialist in information systems management, organisational steering and strategy, quality management and risk and vulnerability management. He is also involved in change management and team building.

He holds a bachelor's degree from Grenoble Graduate School of Business and a master's degree in organisational strategy from the Grenoble Institute of Business Administration, and regularly works as an auditor or consultant for higher education and research institutions.

In 2020, he will be elected to the Scientific Board of the PSS cluster at Grenoble Alpes University, and in 2023 to the Scientific Council of the National Institut of HSS at the CNRS.

He is secretary of the board of directors of the Quares association (www.quares.fr) and co-founder and coordinator of the RELIER network (www.relier-univ.fr) network to support the management and quality of French universities).

An expert in strategic planning and management at the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), he works on international projects relating to the governance of higher education and research organisations, notably at the IFGU (Institut de la Francophonie pour la Gouvernance universitaire) and the Agence Française du Développement (AFD).

Thierry Bontems is also an international expert for AEQES (Agence pour l'Evaluation de la Qualité de l'Enseignement Superieur) and HCERES (Haut Conseil de l'Evaluation de la Recherche et de l'Enseignement Supérieur).
