Novembre 2018
InterMob project is being conducted by Grenoble Alpes University, CNRS and INSERM. This study addresses the issue of transport modal shift in the Grenoble urban area, taking into account several components of the daily mobility system. An interventional study (inspired by epidemiological methods) is being carried out over a period of 24 months on a cohort of 150 volunteers who wish to reduce their car use in favour of less polluting and more active alternative modes of transport.
InterMob brings together an interdisciplinary research team drawn from several human and social sciences as geography, urban planning (PACTE), social psychology (SENS), economics (GAEL) and also health sciences as environmental epidemiology (IAB).
It is co-directed by Sonia Chardonnel, Sarah Duché (PACTE) and Aïna Chalabaev (SENS).
For more details on the project's objectives, news and financial support, please consult the INTERMOB research notebook (https://intermob.hypotheses.org).
