Phd Thesis (2021-2024). "The production of a tourist border zone in the Alps. Migration control, relations of domination and visibility struggles on the French-Italian border". Supervised by Anne-Laure Amilhat-Szary (Pacte, geography) and Philippe Rygiel (Lahra, history).

Other professional experience in teaching/research :

2021-2022 - Investigation with "Border Forensics", an agency mobilizing innovative methods of spatial and visual analysis inspired by forensic architecture to investigate practices of border violence, wherever such violence might take place. Publication of a counter-investigation into the death of Blessing Matthew, a migrant woman who died at the French-Italian border: https://www.borderforensics.org/investigations/blessing/

2020-2021 - Contract teacher in vocational high school (Lettres / Histoire-géographie) at Lycée Gustave Eiffel in Brignais.

2019-2020 - Research internship at the Centre d'Etudes et de Documentation Juridique (CEDEJ) in Egypt (Cairo)

2020 :  Research internship at the Pacte laboratory with Cristina Del Biaggio on the creation of a database of deceased migrants at Alpine borders.

2016-2019 - Co-publishing of the blog, derootees.wordpress.com, documenting border closures in various European and Middle Eastern countries, and writing of articles based on autonomous field research in Italy, the Balkans, Turkey and Lebanon.

2021 - Exhibition "Des routes en déroute" with Sophie Clair-Caliot, Refai Ankosh, Rafouf Onex and Sohir Yoghi, on borders in Europe and the Middle East. Presentation of the exhibition at the festive mobilization day organized by the "3A Val d'Azun" association (Hautes-Pyrénées) and as part of the Printemps des Migrations (Nice).
