Cécile Pelaudeix is Associate researcher at PACTE Sciences Po. Previously she was Associate Professor at Aarhus University and Lecturer at Sciences Po Lyon and Sciences Po Grenoble. Her research centers on governance issues with a focus on international relations and norm dynamics, in the areas of security, sustainable development, energy and ocean governance. She is the co-editor of the book Governance of Arctic Offshore Oil and Gas, Routledge and Transnationalism and legal actors: legitimacy in question, Routledge (forthcoming). She has been invited to many international conferences and seminars from Brazil to Japan. She has advised governments and EU institutions (EP, EEAS) and agencies (EDA) and has recently published for the EUISS a brief on China in the Arctic and for IFRI on Deep Seabed Mining of Critical Metals: Strategic and Governance Challenges.
