Young Research Seminar

The Séminaire Jeune Recherche (SJR) is a doctoral seminar that has existed for many years under various names. It has accompanied several generations of doctoral students throughout their theses. SJR is organized primarily for PACTE doctoral students and master's students in research programs. It is also coordinated directly by an inter-team collective that you are invited to join.

Its objectives are to

Create a space for independent presentation and discussion of doctoral work, whatever its format and stage of completion ("L'atelier recherche").
Offer a privileged space to discuss a researcher's methods ("Guest Lecture").

The seminar is also an opportunity for PhD students to get together, share difficulties and solutions, and learn more about each other's work. The seminar has no fixed time slot, location or frequency. We adapt the sessions according to our needs. If you'd like to test your ideas, present your thesis project or progress report without a finished paper, and get away from specialist questions to face a more varied audience, you're more than welcome at the SJR.  You can also organize a meeting with a key researcher for your thesis within this framework.

For further information, please contact the doctoral students of the SJR collective via jeunerechercheatumrpacte.fr (jeunerecherche[at]umrpacte[dot]fr).
