Video Workshop
The moving image has a long tradition in the social sciences. Its use in research is multiplying in France and internationally, opening the way to new forms of knowledge (co)production and new bridges between science and society. This video workshop is intended first and foremost as a "breath of fresh air" in a context where scientific production practices are becoming intensive, internationalized and standardized. The aim is to question the choice and transformation of our languages in order to develop human and social science thinking that is in touch with society. It also pursues a training-through-practice objective aimed at equipping researchers, post-docs and PhD students with experience in documentary production and editing.
The video workshop is organized in partnership with the Cinémathèque de Grenoble, and benefits from the experience of Naïm Aït-Sidhoum, architect and video-maker. It brings together researchers from the Pacte and Cresson laboratories.
